Wait, Where Are The Birds? is a composed track that aims to create a meditative experience with the familiar noises we live with every day. The track is entirely composed using only recorded sound samples of common noises found in Singapore such as trains, construction sites, traffic, and flying aircraft.

The audience would be greeted with white noise, due to the audible sounds existing at equal intensity despite the different frequencies. After a certain duration, the audience would feel more calm and serene, due to the effect of the sounds that mask away the stimulation in the brain. It attempts to challenge the norm of both composing and experiencing meditation music, going against the traditional usage of soft tones and natural sound elements. The resulting end is a dilemma on what is heard — the gradual numbness to these noises, or instead, realise the absence of nature sounds?
